Mukuvisi Woodlands

It lies in a distance of about 10 minutes from Harare city centre. It is a paradise for the nature lovers and the bird watchers, and the park is one of the must visit tourist attraction in Harare. Some of the species which you can view are Miombo Blue Eyed Starling, Greater Blue Eared Starling, Miombo Rock thrush, Spotted Creeper, Thick Billed Weaver, Golden Weaver, Southern Red Bishop and some species of red warbles. The visitors can go for trailing in the woods too. Among the animals you will be able to see the bush pig, bushbuck, black backed jackals, crocodiles, Duiker, Eland, Giraffe, Impala, Ostrich, Tortoise, and Zebra Terrapin. Among the flora, you can see a wide variety of orchids.
