About 06:30 depart Harare for the famous Great Zimbabwe is the site of an ancient city in Masvingo. These fascinating structures are the remains of a powerful state both politically and economically. They are formed out of granite stones placed on top of each other with no cement. Attractions are the Conical Tower, the Great Enclosure, the Hill complex and the Museum. Professionally trained guides will also take you through the history of the conical tower and the hill complex which used to be the king’s dwelling.
This drive will take approximately 3 hours. Along the way, you can stop at a restaurant for breakfast (own account). Thereafter, late lunch will be served at the Great Zimbabwe Hotel.
 
 Departure back to Harare will be soon after lunch!
